the introduction.

Colour is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers,
the soul is the piano with many strings.
The artist is the hand that plays,
touching one key or another purposely,
to cause vibrations in the soul.

        - Wassily Kandinsky, The Effect of Colour, 1911.

Life is full of humming, thrumming mechanisms - wondrous contraptions, both sublime and complex. Tuning in this concept inspires me to take pictures, draw, think and just be. Cezanne talked about sitting at the river's edge and being happy for a great long time - just by changing his perspective ever so slightly. The longer I am alive the more I understand this kind of sentiment. Not in an egotistical, elitist sort of way - it's the exact opposite... it's more humbling and awe inspiring each second you breathe it in.

I am fascinated with the composition of things, and naturally the drawn to the abstract. This ideal leads the efforts of my work/hobby displayed here - I hope you enjoy. - JB

the meaning

axiom: In traditional logic, an axiom or postulate is a proposition that is not proved or demonstrated but considered to be self-evident. Therefore, its truth is taken for granted, and serves as a starting point for deducing and inferring other (theory dependent) truths.

echo: An echo can be explained as a wave that has been reflected by a discontinuity in the propagation medium, and returns with sufficient magnitude and delay to be perceived.

therefore: self-evident repeating vibration[s]
